With a wealth of experience in the field of chromatography and mass spectrometry software, Mark Sanders currently serves as the Director of Business Development & Partner Management for Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Software at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and development of software solutions in this domain. Prior to his current role, Mark led the software product management team for Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry Software at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the software portfolio in crucial areas such as metabolomics/lipidomics, small molecule structure elucidation, bioanalytical quantitation, metabolism, proteomics, and protein characterization. Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2008, Mark held the position of Senior Principal Scientist and Leader of the Discovery Analytical Sciences Mass Spectrometry Group at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ. In this role, he led a team of experts in the field of mass spectrometry, driving innovation and advancing analytical capabilities for drug discovery and development.
